This has the makings of a super fine phone. I almost wish I had waited and got this one. Then again there
are reports that it may have a Locked Bootloader, and an eFUSE.
Motorola said it "can re-boot once approved software is re-installed." What ever that means.
If you don't need to root your new Droid X, this means NOTHING! So, don't worry about it, just go get one,
